Precautions during the construction of basalt fiber concrete
(1) Basalt fiber concrete construction temperature should not be too high, suitable for 5 ~ 25 ℃, construction temperature higher than 30 ℃, the construction time should be shortened, and the concrete curing process to strengthen control. In winter construction, because the temperature of Basalt Fiber concrete rises gently and the loss of heat of hydration is slow, it should be insulated accordingly.
(2) Check the mixing quality of concrete after arrival, observe whether there is segregation, water secretion, basalt fiber agglomeration phenomenon, and do the slump test on site, and control the slump of pumped concrete at 180mm±20mm.
(3) In order to ensure the continuity and uniformity of basalt fiber distribution, plan well before pouring and do continuous pouring.
(4) Because of the difference between the compatibility of basalt fiber concrete and ordinary concrete, the mixing of fibers reduces the precipitation of water on the surface of the concrete, the time of concrete arrival and casting time should be controlled, and it is appropriate to complete the construction within 30min.
(5) Due to the formation of a three-dimensional network structure after mixing basalt fibers, the slump of basalt fiber concrete will be lower than that of ordinary concrete, fully control the vibration time during the pouring process, and it is recommended to use out-of-mold vibrators to reduce the impact of fiber distribution in the concrete.
(6) According to the requirements of the project, Concrete Specimens should be kept for compressive strength tests during construction as the basis for mold removal. When there are special requirements, anti-freezing and anti-seepage tests should also be done.
(7) Basalt fibers were applied in the main structure, and the cracks on the surface of the concrete were examined 60d after the concrete was poured, and it was found that the basalt fibers did have the effect of controlling the cracks in the concrete.
